I wasn't fortunate enough to know Paul Brunes, but many of the friends I was preparing to ride with on March 13th , 2010, certainly did. In a quiet littel town known as Bralorne, which was once a bustling gold mining community of more than10,000 residence, you can now find all 35 of the townspeople passing through, or by the Claim Jumper Bar and Grill. Just as we were getting ourselves organized in the morning for a backcountry ride, news swept through the tiny town that someone had suffered a fate that was all together irrational. A snowmobiler had passed away on the trails before any of us had even geared up for our ride.
