Inflated Avalanche Ballon Pack for snowmobile and back country safety. The Canadian Avalanche Association and Canadian Avalanche Centre are currently conducting a study to learn more about the effectiveness of avalanche balloon packs. We are therefore very much interested in information about the use of avalanche balloon packs in avalanche involvements.

If you have been part of an avalanche incident where an avalanche balloon pack was involved - regardless of whether it was deployed or not - or you know of such an incident, please go to http://www.avalanche.ca/cac/bulletins/incident-reports/submit and submit an incident report to the Canadian Avalanche Centre. The more information we can collect, the more we will be able to learn about the benefits of this avalanche safety device.
