Volunteer-driven snowmobile clubs do the heavy lifting to provide high-quality recreation opportunities. Trail fees are invested directly back into public recreation infrastructure for benefits that extend beyond the initial user. Read more HERE.

The BC Snowmobile Federation has been the voice for organized snowmobiling in BC since 1965. We support member clubs and steer province wide initiatives that promote safety, stewardship, land use planning, tourism, and the preservation of snowmobiling opportunities for future generations. There are nearly 60 snowmobile clubs in the province care-taking 18,000km of trails and 90 day-use warming shelters making them the largest manager of public recreation sites in the province outside BC Parks. They do this through land use partnerships with the government and private landowners who authorize the collection of day-use fees on a ‘pay-to-play’ cost recovery basis for providing recreation services.
Snowmobiling is responsible for $299.2M in economic impact, 4,272 jobs, and 443,000 ‘rider days’ in BC each season.

You can access your BCSF Club membership directly within the membership platform via desktop. Print or save a screen shot to your mobile device for presentation at the trailhead.
If your club is using barcode scanning at the trailhead you can also use the Amilia Smart Rec app

A 4.5% administration fee is now added to ALL membership purchases to cover transaction, software, and administration fees. This fee is not new but it is now included as a separate line item upon purchase of every membership.
Benefits:
Clubs will no longer ‘eat’ this overhead cost inside their day ticket and membership revenue allowing more funds to be directed to club operations on the ground… not overhead.
Going digital means clubs have decreased administrative burden and you will have faster access at the trailhead.

Our new online membership platform, Amilia SmartRec, holds the highest rating in the payment card industry data security standard (PCI-DSS). You can check for yourself on Visa and Mastercard’s service provider list.
