We are fortunate to be able to access a lot of back country terrain on Snowmobiles but please remember that commercial operators pay for their tenure to take in skiers and it is their livelihood. Know where the commercial tenures are and respect their boundaries.

 Your avalanche risk management can improve with a better understanding of the mechanics going on under the snow's surface. Knowing how to change a transmission doesn't necessarily make you a better driver, but opening the hood to check the oil or fill the windshield washer is something every driver should know how to do.
