BCSF Welcomes New South Peace Snowmobile Coordinator

The BC Snowmobile Federation is thrilled to announce Danielle Roscher as the newest addition to the team! Danielle will be taking on the South Peace Snowmobile Club Coordinator role, focusing on supporting Clubs in Tumbler Ridge, Chetwynd, and Mackenzie, BC this winter.

Based out of Grande Prairie and Tumbler Ridge, Danielle brings with her a wealth of experience and a passion for the outdoors. Her diverse skill set includes certifications with the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, and Outdoor Council of Canada as well as a Business Administration degree from North Western Polytechnic.

This new role, funded by a government grant, encompasses primary responsibilities in several crucial areas:

  1. Land Authorizations: Danielle will actively seek the necessary land authorizations to support the initiation of projects outlined in the SP Snowmobile Development Plan while maintaining existing land agreements.

  2. Club Management & Administration: With her keen eye for effective management, Danielle will establish processes and procedures to promote growth within each club. She will leverage existing resources from the Federation and adapt them specifically to cater to the needs of these clubs.

  3. Risk Management: Safety and stewardship will be at the core of Danielle's efforts. She will ensure that club operations and volunteers are equipped to minimize risks while maintaining a culture of safety.

  4. Board of Directors Support: Danielle will provide dedicated support to the Directors of each club, focusing on building and sustaining their capacity to drive success.

  5. Fundraising: Understanding the importance of sustainability, Danielle will actively apply for grants, forge partnerships, and create opportunities to secure funding for the clubs' endeavors.
