About the BCSF

The BC Snowmobile Federation (BCSF) is a provincial not-for-profit and the united voice of organized snowmobiling in British Columbia since 1965. Guided by a Board of Directors elected annually by our members, we’ve grown from a handful of racers into a network of nearly 60 volunteer-run clubs and 44,000 riders. Local clubs manage trails, cabins, and staging areas through a grassroots user-pay model, while the BCSF amplifies their voice at the provincial level. We drive stewardship, safety, tourism, land use planning, and long-term access to public lands. Together we keep snowmobiling in BC safe, strong, and sustainable for generations to come.

  • BCSF: PROVINCIAL LEADERSHIP

The BCSF unites the BC snowmobile community and leads advocacy, develops programs, manages partnerships, and represent the sport at the provincial, national, and international level.

  • MEMBER CLUBS: LOCAL CHAMPIONS

Clubs are the boots on the snow. They manage trails, grooming, shelters, and staging areas while maintaining vital relationships with land managers and riders.

  • RIDERS: THE HEART OF IT ALL

Riders keep the system going. Membership, ethics, and engagement shape the future of snowmobiling. You’re not just along for the ride - you’re part of the engine.

OUR VALUES

The core values of the BCSF are based on community, integrity, engagement, and leadership. The BCSF commits to:

  • Be accountable to one another and those we serve

  • Do the right thing even when it is not the easy thing

  • Appreciate the value of our members
