2025–2026 ORV Trail Fund Recipients Announced: Investing in BC’s Snowmobile Trails
In partnership with Recreation Sites and Trails BC, the BC Snowmobile Federation is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025–2026 Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) Trail Fund. Now in its eighth year, this program continues to support volunteer-led projects that improve trails across the province.
Funded through Off-Road Vehicle registration dollars, the Fund is a direct reinvestment into the trails riders use and love. This year, 20 projects across British Columbia were awarded funding, totaling $399,893.32. These projects range from critical infrastructure upgrades to improved signage, mapping, and safety features—ensuring safer, more enjoyable experiences for all ORV users.
Snowmobile Project recipients Include:
Nelson Sno-Goers Snowmobile Club – Trail maintenance and signage upgrades – $10,000
Coquihalla Summit Snowmobile Club – Henning Mountain trail brushing – $16,750
Crowfoot Mountain Snowmobile Club – Trailhead and shelter infrastructure – $17,716.25
Kelowna Snowmobile Club – Graystokes trail signage and safety mapping – $25,000
Windermere Valley Snowmobile Society – Trailhead signage and avalanche transceiver checkers – $18,500
Burns Lake Snowmobile Club – Nellian Trail bridge planning project – $25,000
Eagle Valley Snowmobile Club – Safety enhancements – $25,000
BC Snowmobile Federation – Mapping projects – $25,000
Since launching in 2017, the ORV Trail Fund has provided over $2 million in funding to more than 150 projects. It’s a shining example of how rider registration dollars are reinvested directly into the riding community to enhance trail access, safety, and stewardship.
The fund is made possible through collaboration between Recreation Sites and Trails BC, the BC Snowmobile Federation, ATVBC, and the BC Off-Road Motorcycle Association. Together, we’re building stronger, safer, and more sustainable trail systems across British Columbia.
Congratulations to all of this year’s recipients, and thank you to the volunteers whose hard work brings these projects to life.
