From Our Driveway to Yours: The Story of the BCSF Truck
When you see the BCSF truck rolling down the highway, know this: we’re out there for you. Thanks to the generous support of Bannister Automotive Group, with additional backing from Acera and Limitless Decks, we’ve got the wheels to cover a province as vast and rugged as ours. But this truck isn’t just transportation—it’s a mission on four tires.
Every mile it travels takes us to the places where snowmobiling’s future is shaped. It carries us to the tables where land access is defended, to club meetings where challenges are solved and ideas take root, and to events where volunteers receive the recognition they’ve earned. It connects us directly with the people, places, and conversations that keep snowmobiling strong in BC.
This week, the truck is pointed toward Victoria for the Union of BC Municipalities convention, where we’ll be attending key meetings to ensure snowmobiling’s voice is heard on the issues that matter most to our riders, clubs, and communities.
Over the past year, the BCSF truck has been a familiar sight at dealerships across the province, dropping off membership drive materials, hauling signage and resources to clubs, and hitting trade shows across western Canada where we meet more than 40,000 riders annually. It has carried us to Ottawa for the Canadian Council of Snowmobile Organizations’ Walk on the Hill, to SILGA where regional issues take center stage, and even to Kamloops to meet with new Conservation Officers to highlight the trusted role our clubs play in caring for BC’s lands and trails.
It’s not all boardrooms and conferences either. The truck supports media and friends’ rides, helping us share snowmobiling’s cultural, economic, and environmental value. And yes, it still handles the everyday errands that keep the Federation running smoothly.
For our partners, this truck is proof that their support drives real impact. For our clubs, it’s a promise that we’ll show up in person when it matters most. For riders across BC, it’s a rolling reminder that your Federation is out there, working on your behalf.
