BCSF Welcomes Jane Miedzinski as South Peace Coordinator
The BC Snowmobile Federation (BCSF) is excited to announce the addition of Jane Miedzinski as our new South Peace Coordinator. Based in Tumbler Ridge, Jane will be working closely with the snowmobile clubs in Tumbler Ridge, Chetwynd, and Mackenzie to strengthen governance, secure land authorizations, access funding, and grow their long-term capacity.
With more than 12 years of experience in corporate administration, nonprofit management, governance, and community recreation, Jane brings both expertise and passion to the role. She has previously led organizations such as the Tumbler Ridge Outdoor Recreation Association and the Tumbler Ridge Mountain Bike Association, where she built sustainable programs and strong partnerships with government, First Nations, and community groups.
“I’m excited to be joining the BCSF team and to have the opportunity to work with the South Peace snowmobile clubs. I’ve called Tumbler Ridge home for the past 15 years, and outdoor recreation has always been a big part of my life both personally and professionally. My background is in both non-profit management and the corporate sector. I’m passionate about supporting strong, thriving communities and the volunteer clubs within them. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me hanging out with my young family mountain biking, dirt biking, skiing, camping, golfing, or out on the trails hiking. I might even need to add a snowmobile to the mix now! I’m looking forward to connecting with all of you, learning about your clubs and supporting all the hard work you are already doing!”
Jane’s strong local ties and hands-on experience with volunteer-driven organizations make her well positioned to hit the ground running. Her leadership will help set South Peace clubs up for long-term success, ensuring riders continue to have access to world-class trails, cabins, and backcountry experiences.
The BCSF is proud to welcome Jane Miedzinski to our team and looks forward to seeing the impact of her work across the region.
