Destination BC - Sea to Sky Destination Management Council

The Sea-to-Sky Corridor is experiencing growing challenges from increased tourism and recreation, leading to issues like irresponsible land use, strain on search and rescue teams, and overcrowding. In response, the "Don’t Love It to Death" campaign was launched to encourage responsible recreation and sustainable access. This session will highlight the campaign’s impact and explore how similar strategies can support the snowmobiling community.

With extensive experience in outdoor industry litigation, Ryan will offer practical guidance on protecting your club from legal exposure. Drawing from his work with North Shore Rescue and as a former Director of the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides, this session will equip clubs with the knowledge to manage risks and navigate legal challenges.
