Snowarama: 45 Years, $4.6 Million Raised for Kids and Families
The totals are in—and they’re nothing short of incredible. Over the past 45 years, BC snowmobile clubs have rallied together through Snowarama and raised a staggering $4,627,500 in support of Easter Seals BC/Yukon.
What started in 1978 as a simple idea—combine the thrill of snowmobiling with the power of giving back—has grown into one of the longest-standing and most impactful traditions in Canadian snowmobiling. Across more than 35 communities, riders have turned poker runs, BINGO rides, silent auctions, and family events into life-changing opportunities for children and youth living with disabilities.
Where the Money Goes
The funds raised through Snowarama have two direct and lasting impacts:
Easter Seals House in Vancouver: Providing affordable, compassionate accommodations for over 100 parents and children each night while they access vital medical care.
Easter Seals Camps: Offering unforgettable week-long summer camp experiences to roughly 800 children across the province every year.
For families, these services are lifelines. For riders, knowing that every mile ridden and every dollar raised goes directly to these programs makes Snowarama about more than just sledding—it’s about community, compassion, and creating brighter futures.
This Winter’s Snowarama Events
Snowmobile clubs across BC continue to keep the tradition alive with exciting Snowarama events planned for this winter. Whether you’re a vintage sled fan, a poker ride enthusiast, or simply looking for a family-friendly day on the snow, there’s an event for you:

Why It Matters
Snowarama proves that snowmobiling is about more than trails, cabins, and powder days. It’s about the strength of our communities and the good we can accomplish when we ride together. The $4.6 million milestone is a testament to the passion, generosity, and heart of BC’s snowmobile clubs and riders.
As we look ahead to this season’s events, let’s celebrate the legacy of giving that makes Snowarama such a special part of our sport. Join a ride, bring your friends, and help keep the tradition strong.
